For the last fifteen years of my life, I have been playing golf with one thought on my mind. My goal of competing with the best golfers in the world, and earning my place amongst them.
I started as an eleven-year-old at Royal Keerbergen golf club. What first started out as just a fun hobby quickly developed into a passion. I slowly but surely came to find that I could hold my own at this game. By the time I was fifteen years old, I moved to Hasselt to join the Topsport School.
I wanted to get a higher education and still practice enough to get better. College golf in the USA is a great way to combine getting a higher education and playing golf at a high level. I spent four years at the University of Lamar in Texas. It was an unforgettable experience playing against the toughest competition I ever faced on the best golf courses in the world.
After four years of working hard, I returned home with a degree in my pocket and prepared to start my career in Europe.
In 2015 I decided to become professional after having myself established as Belgium’s leading amateur. Ever since I have been showing glimpses of my potential.
